Private registered dietitian services are not typically covered by the Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP).
However many private insurance plans or employee benefit packages may offer coverage for dietitian service. Additionally, if your plan offers a health spending account or similar, dietitian services would be reimbursable. Check with your insurance company to inquire if you have partial or full coverage for registered dietitian services.

We direct bill to many major insurance companies such as Manulife, Greensheild, Johnson Insurance and more. However some insurance companies do not have direct billing set up for registered dietitians. If we aren't able to directly bill to your insurance company, we provide detailed receipts after each appointment for you to submit to your company for reimbursement.
If you are curious if we can direct bill on your behalf, send us an inquiry and we would be happy to chat!
