Insurance Coverage
After each appointment, you will receive a receipt that can be submitted to your insurance company for reimbursement. If you're uncertain about your coverage, carefully review your plan details or contact your benefits manager for confirmation. Additionally, you might be covered under your spouse's or parent's plan.

Alternatively, if your insurance does not cover the services of a Registered Dietitian, we recommend that you save your receipts! In Ontario, Registered Dietitians are categorized as Authorized Medical Practitioners, and out-of-pocket nutrition counselling contributes to your overall medical expenses. Depending on your income, you may be eligible for a non-refundable tax credit from the government when filing your taxes.
